Employee Spotlight: Churchill Enoma, VP of Project MGMT.
Churchill Enoma brings leadership, accountability, and a strong sense of teamwork to his role as Vice President of Project Management at T.M. Bier & Associates. With decades of experience and deep roots at the company, Churchill plays a key role in delivering complex projects while fostering a culture built on trust, collaboration, and shared responsibility.
Churchill earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from City College. His journey to TMBA began at a time when resumes were faxed instead of emailed. After responding to a project engineer job posting, he interviewed at TMBA and was offered two paths: an office role or a field role. He chose the field, a decision that shaped his career and gave him a strong understanding of projects from the ground up.
Today, Churchill’s focus spans both people and performance. His responsibilities include ensuring projects are completed successfully, maintaining customer satisfaction, growing teams, encouraging collaboration, building relationships, improving performance within his division, and prioritizing safety.
Collaboration is central to how Churchill leads. He holds regular meetings to review policies, implementation strategies, standard operating procedures, labor forecasts, and project constraints. These discussions focus on what is working and what needs improvement. Decisions are made as a group, and accountability is shared across the team. To keep meetings engaging, some have been given lighthearted names such as Adorable Council, Small Council, and Ways and Means.
In an industry defined by tight schedules and evolving scopes, Churchill identifies managing customer expectations, accelerated timelines, and scope gaps as some of the biggest challenges. His approach is direct and solutions-focused. When issues arise, the team meets to evaluate the situation and determine the best path forward. If a scope gap is caused by TMBA, the responsibility to correct it is clear. One point of pride Churchill emphasizes is that TMBA has never walked away from a project.
Churchill’s leadership philosophy centers on unity and growth. He believes effective leaders bring people together and help teams understand that they are stronger collectively than individually. Integrity, self-awareness, empathy, discipline, trust, and the ability to lead through others are qualities he values deeply. He also believes mistakes are part of the process and an important source of growth. Strong mentors and coaches, he notes, play a meaningful role in that development.
Throughout his career at TMBA, Churchill has worked on a wide range of notable projects, including City Point Brooklyn, Pacific Park B4, Hard Rock Hotel, 1 Java, Kent Ave (Building A1, A2 & A3), and many others. What he is most proud of, however, is celebrating 20 years of service at TMBA and the relationships built along the way. He speaks highly of the friendships formed with colleagues across project management, software, design, service, administration, and leadership. These bonds, he says, are lasting.
What Churchill values most about TMBA is its sense of family. Teams work hard together, celebrate together, and look out for one another. The level of dedication and commitment throughout the company is exceptional, and the relationships extend well beyond the workplace.
When offering advice to others, Churchill keeps it simple. Learn how to get things done and do them well. Strive to be better than you were yesterday, last week, and last year. Stay consistent, determined, and never take shortcuts. He believes there are no failures, only opportunities to win or learn. His focus remains on making an impact, producing results, and building a lasting legacy.
Outside of work, Churchill enjoys spending time with his family. He likes grilling and cooking when his wife allows him in the kitchen. He values his nightly routine with his children, including baths and bedtime, school drop-offs, and even handling the household laundry. While many coworkers know his tough and assertive professional side, those closest to him see a softer side as well. According to his wife, he is kind, generous, and always willing to give to others.
T.M. Bier & Associates is proud to spotlight Churchill Enoma and recognize the leadership, dedication, and impact he continues to bring to the company.
